Return flights from UKAt the time of writing there are several ways that you can fly to Lesvos from the UK and all have their good and bad points. However these flight options have improved immensely thanks to the newly built (2001) Athens International airport. New carriers such as Aegean Airways are now flying to the island from Athens in direct competition with Olympic Airways. Right now, for visits in March and early April we recommend that you fly to Athens with an airline of your choice and then take the short hop over with either of the above carriers.

by far the cheapest method is to wait until the charter flights begin,
about the last week of April, as they fly direct to the island from
various major airports around the U.K. Consequently flight times are
shorter, prices are cheaper and obviously there is not the need to change
planes at Athens. However if you are going for the birds charter flights
are not really a viable option as chances are that much of the migration
